First decide where the product needs support; then select the NCpack code and number of packs.
Prepare the product and carton first
Record the product dimensions, weight and vulnerable points, then measure the carton internally. Plan whether the item requires bottom support, top closure, side restraint or support in several directions.
Include projections, connectors and vulnerable surfaces.
Use internal dimensions and identify load-bearing directions.
Plan bottom, top, side or multi-directional restraint.
Make the first application with the actual product and carton.
Important: Liquid components must never touch the product. Application takes place through the sealed protective outer bag.
Apply NCpack in four steps

Prepare the pack
Open the package and place it on a clean, level surface with the carton ready.

Mix the components
Open the internal barrier and press the two components from side to side until mixed.

Position in the carton
Transfer the mixture into the protective outer bag and spread it at the required support area.

Place the product
Position the product carefully and allow the foam to form its protective support.
Reaction time can vary with ambient and material temperature. Confirm timing under actual working conditions before repetitive production.
Evaluate restraint, not simply foam volume
The goal is not to fill every void. Create support surfaces that limit movement and direct transport forces away from fragile features.
- Do not concentrate the full product weight on a small contact point.
- Keep screens, sockets, glass and projections away from primary load paths.
- Consider several packs for large or heavy products.
- Avoid both excessive compression and open movement after the carton closes.
Final checks before closing the carton
✓The product cannot move in an uncontrolled direction.
✓Fragile projections are not carrying the load.
✓Bottom and top supports work together.
✓The carton closes without crushing the product.
✓The sample has been confirmed for expected shipping conditions.
