How does expanding packaging foam work?
Mixing two components starts a chemical reaction. The material increases in volume, conforms to the surrounding geometry and cures into a supporting foam form. Reaction time may vary with material and ambient temperature.
Safe application: Liquid components must not contact the product directly. Support is formed through the sealed protective outer bag.
What does foam-in-bag mean?
Foam-in-bag means that the reaction takes place inside a sealed outer bag. The bag is positioned in the carton and the product is placed on or between supports while the foam takes its shape. NCpack provides this process without a dedicated dispensing machine.

Product dimensions, inner carton dimensions, weight and required support directions are assessed together. Large or heavy items may need multiple bottom, side and top supports rather than one oversized pack. A sample application confirms the final selection.
